The sampler series is divided into two categories: molten steel samplers and molten iron samplers.
The molten steel sampler is suitable for use at the converter—both before and after tapping; at the electric furnace—both before and after tapping; at argon‑blowing stations and refining furnaces; and for sampling at continuous casting machines. It can be used to obtain samples for spectral analysis.
Data on the various chemical compositions of molten steel.
The molten iron sampler is suitable for use at desulfurization stations and in mixing ladles. It enables spectral and fluorescence analyses to obtain data on the various constituents of molten iron.
Accordingly, its composition is adjusted during the steelmaking process.
